About¶
I'm Rhys, a technical writer and documentation engineer at Apteco in Warwick, UK.
I got into technical writing the long way round. After a degree in anthropology, I taught English in South Korea, then moved to Prague, where I worked as an editor, a QA specialist, and a copywriter. I became a technical writer at Make, a no-code automation platform, at the end of 2021, and joined Apteco in 2022.
These days I look after the Apteco Help Hub, and the tools and processes behind it. I'm optimistic about where documentation is going, which is what my blog, The docs are alright, is about.
