Hello! I'm Rhys, a technical writer and documentation engineer. I look after the Apteco Help Hub and the tooling behind it.

Selected work¶
- Migrating to docs-as-code
- About 950 pages from six MadCap Flare projects to one site, on my own. Publishing went from 7 or 8 minutes to about one, and more than 3,300 redirects keep old links working.
- A docs quality system
- A house style guide, 16 custom Vale rules, checks on every edit, and an AI review before every pull request. Vale alerts are down by more than 80% in the sections I've cleaned up so far.
- A docs program for a team of one
- 278 pull requests since February, release notes every two weeks, and docs work tracked alongside development in Azure DevOps.
